Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program sold as part of the Microsoft Office suite.
PowerPoint presentations contain a number of individual pages or ‘slides’. Slides may contain text, graphics, sound, or movies. PowerPoint encourages the use of a consistent style in a presentation by the use of style templates.
The presentation can be displayed live on a computer, with navigation from slide to slide by the presenter, or projected using a video projector and played as slideshow. PowerPoint presentations can also be printed.
