Banacos Academic Center

Support for Your Success!

Success is achieved through individual work, working with peers and reaching out for guidance.

At the Banacos Academic Center, Westfield State University students support each other through tutoring and studying together.  All students are welcome to use the spacious tutoring room and the computer labs located in the Center just across from the D.C. and next to Parenzo Gym. Ask about information on academic skills strategies and MTEL Comlit preparation.

Banacos houses both the state's most sought-after college admissions programs for students with learning disabilities and a disabilities support services for all students.  Read about the support available at the Banacos Academic Center below.

What We Offer

Disability Services

If a student has learning, physical, psychological or medical challenges, we make sure reasonable accommodations are met.

Learning Disabilities Program

If you have a documented learning disability, we'll provide you with classroom accommodations, tutoring support and proper academic advisement.

We provide direct assistance to education majors through group workshops and individual support opportunities.
