TRIO Student Support Services Program

Providing hope and opportunity.

The TRIO Student Support Services Program (TRIO) is a U.S. Department of Education federally funded TRIO program providing ongoing support throughout a Westfield student’s college career. TRIO offers eligible program participants free, comprehensive academic and personal support designed to assist with persistence to graduation and preparation for graduate or professional school.

All TRIO participants are assigned to a program coordinator to determine their learning strengths and challenges and devise a Student Success Plan outlining the most appropriate assistance. Day division students can become a program participant at any point in their undergraduate program and remain in TRIO until graduation. Learn more about our mission and the history of the program.
