Seek social justice and make a lasting impact in your community.

The Ethnic & Gender Studies Department (EGST) emphasizes a multidisciplinary and comparative approach to the study of race, class, ethnicity, and gender—so you can prepare to address a wide range of social issues. Our work is student-centered, anti-racist, feminist, and LGBTQIA inclusive. Discover truth and social justice through theory, hands-on experience, and community work personalized for your passions and care.
