Opened in 1972, Lammers Hall houses 318 first year, sophomore, junior, and senior students in double and quad style rooms.  The laundry room is located in the basement and include several high efficiency washers and dryers (only high efficiency detergent should be used in the washers).  Vending machines are located on both sides of the first floor.

Alycia Maffeo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Movement Science from Westfield State University in May 2012 and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences. In addition to working as the Special Projects Coordinator for Staff Development  at WSU she  was recently appointed as the Interim Residence Director of Lammers Hall for the 2014 Spring semester.

Originally from Tewksbury Massachusetts, Alycia loves to do crafts, has a passion for nutrition, likes being outdoors, and is often found doing homework. Her door is always open and welcomes any and all visitors to her office located in Residential Life.


Residence Hall History

Lammers Hall was opened in 1972.  It is named for Tess Lammers, faculty member and administrator at Westfield State University from the 1920's to the 1960's.

In 1996, a renovation of Lammers Hall created eleven new student bedrooms and resulted in locating the Career Services and Counseling Center offices in the A-1 section of the hall.

Additional renovations in 2002 and 2003 included fire suppression system upgrades, carpeting, lighting, and a complete remodeling of the Main Lobby.
