Frequently Asked Questions

How do I qualify for the New England Regional Rate?
  1. You must be a resident of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont, and
  2. You must have been a resident for a minimum of 12 consecutive months, and
  3. You must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of another legal immigration status, and
  4. You must complete a Proof of Residency form after confirming your intent to enroll at Westfield State University.
Can I also qualify for Merit Scholarships?

Yes!  Students from New England currently qualify for merit scholarships in the amount of $2,000 or $1,000 annually.

Am I able to get financial aid under this rate?

All financial aid is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and is awarded based on financial need.
