The Fall 2025 Club Fair kicked off on the Campus Green on Thursday, September 11, giving Registered Student Organizations the opportunity to connect with new and returning members. Students explored ways to get involved and make new friends with clubs focused on everything from sports and leisure to academics and career exploration to community service.

Information was also available for anyone who didn’t find their perfect club and wants to start their own.

Westfield State students also recently participated in the third annual Majors and Minors Fair which brought representatives from academic departments to Scanlon Banquet Hall to share information about their programs. Students were able to explore Westfield State’s 50+ majors and 30+ minors while also connecting with the Career Center, Honors Program, International Programs, and Graduate Admissions. The draw of free food and raffle prizes brought in students, but it was the chance to talk informally with Westfield State’s caring and talented faculty that kept the room full as they were able to consider changing majors, adding a second major or declaring a minor.

According to Rob Thornton of the Office of Academic Advising, the Majors and Minors Fair “is a great chance to learn more, ask questions, and make any changes before the next advising and registration period.”  While students can always work with their advisors and faculty members, the dedicated time to bring all their options together has proven to be very helpful.
