Neighborhood Advisory Board

Our Mission:

The Board serves to connect neighborhood and University representatives, to foster open and constructive dialogue and to plan and promote collaborative projects that build community.

Membership & Involvement

The Board is comprised of representatives of the University, the Student Government Association, and the neighborhood of the Western Avenue campus. 

  • Five neighborhood representatives are chosen by the committee from recommendations submitted by community leaders, committee members and the university administrators.
  • Appointment of representatives run for two-year terms.
  • The City Council person representing the Western Avenue neighborhood (Ward 4), adjacent to the University will also have a seat at the table as will City Councilors from Wards 2 and 3.
