Student Ambassadors

The Mission of the Student Ambassadors is to:

Represent the University to all constituents both on and off campus in a professional, positive and well informed way and to make all visitors to the campus feel welcome and comfortable. 

Some local outreach initiatives we are or have been involved with:

  • Compass Mentor Program for elementary school children at the Littleville Elementary School in Huntington, MA
  • Character University at the White Oak School in Westfield, MA
  • Birthday Wishes Program
  • Hope for Limpopo
  • Lead With Integrity
  • 15-40 Cancer Awareness Organization
  • Kids for Kids Toms Shoe program
  • Yankee Swap and Bingo at the Westfield Arbors
  • Samaritan Inn
  • Spring Egg Hunt for community children
  • Westfield Boys and Girls Club

Student Ambassador Commitments and Activities Include:

  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Attend mandatory special on and off-campus events
  • Lead campus tours
  • Willingness to learn historical and general interest information about Westfield State
  • Willingness to work as a team member and to actively participate in all Ambassador events
  • Willingness to connect with Westfield State to facilitate stronger connections as alumni
  • Community outreach projects
  • Bi-Annual Student Ambassador Reunion

Student Ambassador Perks Include:
