Glen Brewster

Biography

Glen Brewster is the Director of the Honors Program and was Chair of the Department of English from 2003-2010.  His specialties are British Romanticism, literary theory and criticism, and film.  He has taught a wide range of courses for the department, including Introduction to Shakespeare, Development of the Novel, and first-year composition.  He is an advisor to several student organizations, including the Westfield Voice newspaper, Persona literary journal, and the Academic Pursuits Club.  Along with Elizabeth Starr, he is an advisor for the campus chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, and is a member of the national Sigma Tau Delta Executive Board as the Eastern Regent.
