The Management and Marketing Department focuses on serving students seeking a high-quality education at an affordable price. While we are one of the largest majors at Westfield State University, we offer selective programs to students who desire individualized attention.

The variety of our concentrations prepares students to be successful and productive members of any organization they join, enables them to contribute to the greater good of society, and provides them a framework to continue expanding and learning throughout their personal and professional lives. You can concentrate on Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, or Sports Management. We offer cutting-edge classes in Digital/Social Media, Data Analytics, and Segmentation Strategies, among others. We are flexible enough to offer In-person, Hybrid, and Online degree completion.

The mission of the Management and Marketing Department is to provide a high-quality program of undergraduate education in the areas of management and marketing to the citizens of the Northeast region. As a comprehensive university , we focus on serving students who are seeking a high-quality education at an affordable price. Our program prepares students to be successful and productive members of any organization they join, enables them to contribute to the greater good of society, and provides them a framework to continue expanding and learning throughout their personal and professional lives.

In pursuit of this goal, we provide a fundamental grounding in a core body of knowledge as laid out in the university’s common core. This exposure to multidisciplinary studies and cultural, and global diversity is complemented by our departmental business core requirements.
