Student Veterans of America (SVA)
The Westfield State University Veteran’s Association is an official Chapter Member of the SVA which works to provide veterans with resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and post-graduation. The SVA works closely with the Dept. of Veterans Administration (VA) as well as the Government to provide the best possible options to the countries growing veteran population as they transition from their service to the civilian world and going back to school.
The SVA also works with many businesses and the government pushing to make hiring veterans a priority, although their primary focus is on education.
